There is an iceberg in this panorama, but it's so small it only shows up as
4 slightly lighter-colored pixels in the 1500 pixel wide version (click on
image or view in viewer. I wrote "Iceberg" in pen on the original,
but it looks
like a small flaw about a quarter of the way out from the left. While we're
on this
information giving trip, Red Bay is the smallish blue break in the coast before
the hills
start on the left. The hills, not the gentle roll in the tundra. Yah,
you got it. Pretty forbidding-looking place eh? At least the polar bears spend
the
summer a little further north. Speaking of north, that dirt road is bringing
civilization
another 100 miles north, for better or for worse, beginning next year.
